I’m kind of bummed out- not because the economy is bad blah blah blah, but rather because I think it is going to force Obama the President to do some things that both the far right and the left won’t like. Under normal circumstances I think he would be a pretty “progressive centrist.” [I realize that kinda doesn’t make sense but fuck it]</p> <p>However now, given the severe case of anal leakage Bush has left him, he is forced to immediately think hard about massive government program cuts, instituting a controversial public works program, massive deficits,  and a gigantic stimulus package [which you know the Republicans will shit on him for no matter what]. This not to mention 2 wars, Russia popping off like an undersized point guard & China holding our balls— and not in the way you want someone to do so. </p> <p>I know there is much more to worry about [health care, energy, more institutions failing etc] but I thought it is worth being a bit bummed out.
